On occasion your scanner may display an error code or message.
These codes are very broad in nature, meaning each one can occur as a result of numerous anomalies in the scanning the system. The descriptions of these codes are general and very specific. To resolve an error code or message may require some amount of investigation and analysis.
When a scanner is taken to approximately 5000’ or higher and placed into operation, symptoms such as U6, U9 or other UX error codes may be displayed. To trouble shoot this error code requires the re-calibration of the UDDS sensors at that higher altitude.
If the calibration fails, the customer should then call Kodak Alaris Service for support.
